
1L Twin Bioreactor

The EDF-1.2 is an innovative twin bioreactor, designed for both research and process development in fermentation and cell culture.
Our twin bioreactor has a compact, ergonomic and robust design.
The bioreactor vessel uses an innovative temperature control system, equipped with a Peltier element. Consequently, temperature control is provided without the need to connect the vessel to a cooling water source. Additionally, the magnetically coupled drive creates good sterility conditions.

Peltier element cooled condensers provide exceptional exhaust gas cooling without the use of circulation water. The robust construction and fan-driven heat exchange develop enough power to cool and condense even high-temperature processes.
Easily exchangeable, large 1L glass vessels provide the option to use multiple vessels with the same lid providing flexibility in day-to-day operations and making research production more convenient.


Novel magnetic drive coupling eliminates the need for a mechanical seal and can provide a mixing rate from 40 rpm to 2000 rpm.
A powerful Peltier element provides possibilities for cooling and heating temperature maintenance from 10-50℃
The uniform top lid without welded components facilitates improved sterility and ease of maintenance. The vessel is equipped with all the necessary sensors and ports for a successful fermentation process.
