Laboratory bioreactor EDF-5.3_3
EDF-5.3_3 is jacketed glass bioreactor with working volume 4 liter (total volume 6.5 liter). The thermoregulation is carried out by circulating of thermostated water through the jacket.
Completation includes following main parts:
- The bioreactor vessel with upper stainless steel lid and jacketed glass vessel;
- Novel magnetic drive (Motor is mounted in upper lid). The range of mixer rotation speed is 40 - 1000 rpm;
- Standard rushton turbine mixing system consisting of 2 mixers and bottles (optionally the mixers for mycelial or another shear sensitive microorganisms);
- In the upper lid are threaded borings, in which can be following devices installed:
- 1.Needles (4) - for the supply of substances capable of being titrated and metered;
- Air condenser with a filter and an output valve;
- Temperature sensor;
- pH sensor;
- pO2 sensor;
- Sparger;
- Foam sensor;
- Chemostat tube;
- Additional devices according request.
- Bioprocess controller BIO-3 (colored 5.6’’ touch screen display, measuring and control of pH, pO2, temp, foam, revolutions n- Basic configuration, other parameter control and operations according to request);
- Stainless steel control cabinet;
- Rotameter, pressure regulator, inlet and outlet microbiological filters;
- Thermostat;
- Peristaltic pumps block (consist of 3 pumps) and bottles (3) for titration;
- Temperature and foam sensor;
- Mettler-Toledo sterilisable pH sensor 405-DPAS-SC-K85/325 or analogue including stainless steel protection covering and fittings;
- Mettler-Toledo sterilisable pO2 sensor Inpro 6820/12/320 or analogue including fittings;
- Frame construction;
- Frame for sterilization in autoclave;
- Other standard accessories to ensure full functionality in fermentations.
Optionally:
- Program and pump modules for feeding (e.g. fed-batch) according adjusted time profiles of feeding productivity;
- Valve and program module for O2 enrichment for manual or automatic pO2 control;
- The mixers for mycelial and another shear sensitive microorganisms.
