The application BIO-3 for renovation of second hand bioreactors
The experience is setting that qualitative made the stainless vessels of bioreactors can be applied at least 30 years. But even qualitative made process control units become obsolete already in 10 years. It means that the way to prolong the life of bioreactor is renovating of process control system. We have a such bioreactor’s renovating experience by using bioprocess controller BIO-3.
There are two basic variants by connection of BIO-3 to controlled bioreactor:
- To connection box is used to interface the controller inputs/ outputs with sensors and executive devices. Executive devices can be connected directly or through another element (contactors, frequency invertors e.t.c.).
- The frame of BIO-3 is installed in motor control cabinet MMC.
