Bioprocess controller BIO-3

BIO-3 is a flexible process controller that ensures the monitoring and control of different bioreactors (also produced by other companies). The controller is based on a Basic programmable microcomputer (BASIC TIGER, Product of Wilke Technology GmbH - www.wilke.de), which makes it possible to do the changes and corrections in the controller program, as well as extend the number of inputs and outputs, easy and cost effectively. As a result, the controller is not only user, but also developer-friendly.

The controller has two design versions:

1. in plastic cabinet (produced by Bopla GmbH)
2. in stainless steel cabinet (produced by Rittal)

A touch screen display is used In controller, which makes the service intuitive and attractive.

Bioprocess controller Bio-3 ensures the control of temperature T, pH, pO2 and foam in its basic version, and also overpressure p, air, N₂, O₂ and CO₂ flow rates, weight and level in th advanced version.

We have the experience of using our bioprocess controllers for used bioreactors renovation / modernisation. For example, in such a way we have given a second life to two bioreactors (50 and 300 litres) produced by "Elektrolux" in the 80s.
